Orthopedic conditions that require replacement of bone tissue are common not only in human medicine, but also in veterinary medicine, which require reconstructive surgical treatment with the use of a bone substitute. The aim of this research is to morphologically analyze the behavior of alumina-zirconia nanocomposite scaffolds (SNA-Z) coated with calcium phosphate in bone defects induced in rabbit tibias at different times.
